Speaker: Dr. Mary Gardner, DVM, CIO & Founder of Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice

Bio: Dr. Mary Gardner is a “second career” veterinarian who spent 10 years in enterprise-wide software design, implementation and marketing. A twist of fate changed her path and in 2008, Dr. Gardner graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.

After a few years in general practice, she found her niche in helping geriatric and terminally ill pets and their owners. In 2010, she co-found Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice, which now employs over 200 veterinarians across the United States exclusively offering in-home end of life care. She provided end of life care in Inland Empire, Orange and LA County for 7 years and now has a team of 7 vets dedicated to helping families in the area.

Dr. Gardner is Lap of Love’s Chief Innovation Officer, responsible for the company’s proprietary software, web presence and digital marketing. Dr. Gardner also developed The Pet Hospice Journal, an online Quality of Life Assessment program, as well as the first Quality of Life App (Grey Muzzle), both of which are free to the public.

Dr. Gardner won VMX Small Animal Speaker of the Year in 2020! Keep an eye on NoodleU Virtual Veterinary Conference to find more of her lectures.
