In this lecture, we will walk attendees through the key components of BOAS, including clinical presentation, diagnostic workup, and surgical treatment options and techniques. The session will also include a case study review to tie everything together with real-world application.

Speaker: Dr. Adam Gassel DVM, DACVS

Bio: Skilled in all aspects of surgery, Dr. Adam Gassel’s clinical interests include: tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) for knee stabilization, portosystemic shunts, surgical oncology, and minimally invasive procedures, especially arthroscopy and laparoscopy. He has a unique interest in regenerative medicine, including stem cell and platelet-rich plasma therapy. Dr Gassel received his degree from Purdue University; he completed his Small Animal Surgery residency at the Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles, CA.
