Attendees will familiarize themselves with the foundations of immunohistochemistry (IHC) and PARR and learn the clinical utility of these tests. Through clinical examples, attendees will become comfortable with when to request these tests and how to interpret results.

Speaker: Dr. Julie Bulman-Fleming, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)

Bio: Born in Vancouver, Dr. Julie Bulman-Fleming attended Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she developed her interest in oncology. She joined Veterinary Cancer Group in 2008 where she completed her medical oncology residency and now serves as our Medical Director and Residency Program Director. Her areas of interest include client education, palliative care, and the role of the immune system in cancer development and treatment. Julie’s personal interests are rock climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, and trapeze. She shares her home with her husband Michael, seven month old daughter Lily, and three black cats.
