We stand with Dr. Valerie Marcano

A few weeks ago Dr. Marcano, founder of Pawsibilities Vet Med- a platform for mentorship with an emphasis on underrepresented populations, received hate mail from a fellow veterinarian in response to an article she wrote. The email was tough to read as it was filled with bigotry, racist statements, and blatant disrespect for her personally and the work in diversity, equity, and inclusion as a whole.

In response to this event, Dr. Marcano is taking the highest road by hosting a session on Navigating Hate Speech. Join us for this session to learn about how you can stand up for yourself and others in the wake of these events.
