This is not your mother’s webinar!  Learn how to switch it up and think out of the box when it comes to burnout.

We all know the story of our profession: burnout, DVM shortages, toxic work environments, blah blah blah.

Come spend a few hours diving deeper into the paradigms that precede these pitfalls.  Learn how we (YOU) can navigate the changing waters of vet med and discover novel approaches to being part of the solution.  Walk away with tangible strategies for you and your team – and some good laughs!

SPEAKER- Erin Rocchio
For 15 years, Erin has worked with executives across industries to find the sweet spot between business results and personal meaning.  She designs and delivers transformational leader, team, and organization development in line with business strategy.  Released in 2020, Erin’s inaugural publication, Wholeness at Work: Free Yourself from Burnout for Good, addresses the science behind workplace burnout.  She explores the symptoms, sources and solutions across three levels: individual, relational, and systemic.  Her Roadmap to Wholeness supports leaders in finding a lifelong path to sustainable wellbeing in their work.

Erin’s clients are curious, open, emotionally intelligent leaders up to big things.  She works with C-level executives at billion-dollar companies and founders of proven start-ups, helping them cultivate sustainable, high-performing teams based on metrics that drive engagement and results.

Erin’s clients include: Uber, Glassdoor, Snap, Inc., Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Surgical Care Affiliates and many more.

SPEAKER – Dr. Delia Macdonald
Dr. Delia Macdonald grew up feral, in the wilds of Northern California.  Approaching life backwards is her favorite pastime.  High school dropout, river raft guide, horse trainer, waitress (all the important things) preceded a formal education.  She traveled and lived in East and Southern Africa for three years and then decided to start a family and go to vet school with a four and six year old (and a long suffering husband!).  Proudly ranked in the middle of her graduating class of 2012 from CSU.  She practiced mixed animal medicine (fondly referred to as the “James Herriot year” in her memoir) in Wyoming and Colorado before moving to Northern Arizona in 2013.  Delia received veterinary acupuncture training through IVAS and completed her training in 2015.  Shortly after, she purchased a small animal holistic veterinary practice in Northern Arizona, Harmony Pet Care.  She grew HVC from a one to six doctor practice over the last 6 years.

In July 2021, Delia sold her beloved Harmony Veterinary Care to Companion Pet Partners.  She couldn’t be happier with her decision and is happy to talk shop with anyone looking at the complexity and anxiety around selling one’s business.  Delia believes – passionately – that specificity is all and that enjoying her work means not being “all things to all people”.

SPEAKER- Francesca Tocco, LCSW
Francesca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has been a Veterinary Social Worker since 2012.  She believes in empowering individuals, teams, and advocating for mental health needs at all levels.

As the Veterinary Social Work Manager at Companion Pet Partners, Francesca is available to support our teams from the individual to the entire hospital around a variety of topics.  In addition to vet med, another professional interest includes postpartum depression and anxiety.
