A Joint Effect: Nutrition and Osteoarthritis

Every day veterinarians are seeing dogs that have osteoarthritis and are overweight or even obese. Veterinarians and even pet parents can recognize overweight/obese pets, but they do not consider it a true disease state, but in fact, these dogs are suffering with two chronic disease states. Learn how to communicate this “joint effect” and use nutrition to successfully prevent and treat the overweight/obese canine with osteoarthritis.
