Who would have anticipated that FIP and COVID-19 would share headlines.  Since, they share a common virus, we shouldn’t be so surprised.  Join us to learn more about the anti-viral developed by local company Anivive and its impact not just on FIP but also the potential that it may or may not have on COVID-19.  This is a perfect discussion in our ONE HEALTH Universe where pets and people may cross paths and hopefully both benefit.

SPEAKER: Dave Bruyette, DVM, DACVIM

Chief Medical Officer, Anivive.  Dave oversees all medical and therapeutic development related initiatives at Anivive. He is one of the country’s most well respected veterinary experts and recently served as the editor of the leading veterinary textbook on internal medicine. Prior to Anivive, Dr. Bruyette was Medical Director at the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital from 1996 to 2017. He was a member of the Department of Comparative Medicine at Stanford University, and an Assistant Professor, Head of Internal Medicine, and Director of the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory at Kansas State. He received his BA from St Louis University and his DVM from the University of Missouri prior to completing his residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Davis.
