Summary:  Join us for a discussion on Elanco’s new conditionally licensed Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody.  We will present an overview of the current disease state of canine parvovirus, vaccination strategies for success prevention, current treatment options and their challenges, as well as the new therapeutic technology for treatment. 

 

Speaker: Todd Duffy, DVM, DACVECC

Bio:

Dr. Duffy is a 1997 graduate from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine. Following completion of an internship and residency at the Animal Emergency Center and Referral Services in Milwaukee, WI, he passed the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Board Exam in 2004. In addition to practicing in several large, emergency and multi-specialty referral hospitals, Dr. Duffy remains active with lecturing and was a contributor to the RECOVER CPR guidelines. He has special interests in minimally-invasive procedures, antibiotic stewardship, patient safety as well as analgesia and managing anesthesia for critical patients. He is a Specialty Consulting Veterinarian for Elanco Animal Health and provides locum clinical work.
