Speaker: Karina S. Cox, DVM, MS

Summary:  Review of the IHC process and common errors

Bio: Dr. Cox grew up in San Diego County and attended UC Davis for her undergraduate degree and veterinary school. She completed a one-year equine internship in Buellton, CA and then practiced for 8 years in Orange County, working predominantly with sport horses. She went on to complete a combined residency/Masters program in large animal internal medicine at Colorado State University. She moved to Prescott, AZ for 5 years, focusing on mixed large animal private practice. In 2020, she hung up her practice boots and joined the USDA with the Food Safety and Inspection Service as the public health veterinarian for Harris Ranch in Selma, CA. In 2022, Dr. Cox joined her current team at APHIS in Sacramento, CA endorsing international health certificates, among other things, in the office.
