Speaker: Mary Schwartz, CVT

Summary: In today’s ever-changing and evolving digital age, veterinary clinic owners face immense challenges in standing out and thriving. Keeping staff happy, pleasing clients, and providing top-quality care for patients demands the right strategies. This CE course aims to help practice owners and managers discover the 5 essential digital tactics that will set your clinic on the path to success including: the art of exceptional customer service, proactive communication, harnessing advanced technology, creating a strong online presence, managing your clinic’s reputation, and implementing irresistible loyalty & incentive programs that help make happy, loyal clients and help you thrive as a clinic and unleash the full potential of your veterinary practice.

Bio: Mary Schwartz, CVT began her career in equine medicine before becoming a Technician Manager at an emergency clinic managing a team of 20. She decided to expand her already robust skill set and became a CVT that combined her extensive leadership and business management skills to help treat and care for animals. Following this, Mary became a Practice Manager at a 5 DVM general practice clinic managing a team of 30 and overseeing all of the operations.

After spending her fair share of time in the practice, Mary was ready for a change but wanted to stay in the veterinary industry and still make an impact, which is how she came to work at PetDesk, a technology solution that helps over 3,000 clinics engage their clients and create more time to provide great care for pets. When Mary began her new career as a Customer Success Manager, she was focused on owning the post-sales experience and maximizing the return on a customer’s technology investment. Taking a consultative approach with veterinary practice managers and owners allowed her to learn the power of veterinary technology, and how it can help staff reclaim their time so quality care comes first.

Now Mary is a Solutions Consultant at PetDesk where she serves as a personal consultant to each team at PetDesk and provides them with industry and clinic knowledge so they are better able to serve clinics and be efficient in their day-to-day job functions. This role allows her to hone in on the practice’s wants and needs and tailor PetDesk’s technology solutions to each clinic, its staff, and clients.
