TITLE: TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR ARTHRITIS IN SMALL ANIMALS

Speaker: Natalia Soto, DVM, DACVS-SA

Bio:

Dr. Natalia Soto is a board-certified veterinary surgeon and Chief of Surgery at TrueCare for Pets. She obtained her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She completed a one year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery in Garden State Veterinary Specialists in 2009 and then pursued a specialty surgical internship at VCA Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT in 2011. In 2014 she completed her surgical residency at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Soto performs all types of surgeries, including soft tissue, orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures. Her special interest includes minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy and interventional radiology techniques such as urethral and ureteral stenting. Dr. Soto is vice present and co-founder of WUFAW a global foundation focused on improving animal welfare locally and abroad. When she is not helping animals Dr. Soto enjoys working out and spending time with her four legged family Moo, Gordi and Atticus.
