The COHAT and how to streamline it!” will cover best practices of the Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment. It was outline oral exam, common pathology, cleaning, polishing, workflow, and gold standard methods of performing these skills as a technician.

 

 

Speaker: Stephanie Perry, CVT, VTS (Dentistry)

Bio: Stefanie has 18 years experience in the veterinary industry and became a CVT in Arizona in 2010. In 2020, she became a member of the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians granting her a VTS (Dentistry). She works full time in the Companion Animal Clinic of Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. She participates in dental procedures, teaching students dentistry, anesthesia, and technical skills. She has been a co-instructor for dental wet labs at Western Veterinary Conference and will be lecturing and teaching a wet lab at the Veterinary Dental Forum in September.  She teaches labs in clinics, promoting gold standard dentistry practices to elevate dental patient care.
