Speakers:

Leslie Boudreau, BASVT, RVTg, CVPM, PHR, PHRca, SPHR

Leslie Boudreau, has spent over 30 years in the veterinary profession. She has an A.S. degree and Certificate in Animal Science from Mt. San Antonio College, and a Certificate, A.A., and BAS degree in Veterinary Technology-Hospital Management from St. Petersburg College. In addition, she has been an RVTg (Registered Veterinary Technologist) in California since 1995. In 2011 Leslie received her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) certification from the Veterinary Hospital Manager’s Association and became one of the few CVPM’s in the country. She is a member of AAHA, CVMA, NAVTA, CaRVTA, SCVMA, and VHMA.

Leslie is married and has 3 children. Her “four-legged” children include 2 dogs, 4 cats, bearded dragons and many turtles and tortoises. In her spare time, she enjoys wildlife rehabilitation, especially opossum, turtle, and tortoise rehabilitation.

Elaine Myers MS, RVT, CVPM

Elaine Myers is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where she received her Master’s degree in Animal Science. She taught biomedical science courses at the College of Veterinary Medicine and is a published author in the NAVTA Journal. She is a CA licensed RVT and spent over 10 years working in emergency medicine and critical patient care before taking on an administrative role. She became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) in 2019.
Currently, she is the Hospital Administrator for the Orange County Emergency Pet Clinics. She oversees the corporate operations, including financial tracking and decision making, recruitment and supervision of doctors and staff, and maintaining quality patient and client care while maximizing profits.
She is a current member of the board of directors for the California Registered Veterinary Technician Association (CARVTA) and the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce. She is a proud member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA), the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) and the North Orange County Chamber of Commerce.
She is married and has two children. When she is not working, she likes to run, dance, and go hiking with her two dogs.
